Every night is a bill of comics and two sets of original, quirky dance music — straight from the heart of Brooklyn. It’s a dance safe space, built on inclusion and a positive atmosphere, and the simple idea that we are all pretending. Playfully.
The experiments
Every 3Sativas night is an experiment — assembled from posters, paintings, and the room itself.
The power of the fool
We are expert beginners. We follow the power of the fool — the drunken master — and we cultivate magic, not mystery. There are many strains, and there’s room for all of them.
Sativa means cultivated — grown on purpose, with care. That is the heart of it: we are here to cultivate magic.
One day at the Pearl
In the subterranean labyrinth below Pearl Street in DUMBO lies the real pearl — the Brooklyn Pearl. A magical old brick room with enormous pillars, like giants, holding up the weight of Brooklyn. It’s here the Sativas’ magic came alive. It’s here we realized: it’s happening.
It began with Sunday jams — where the Sativa vibe was born. JP lit a fire. Andrew brought the gasoline. Comedy and dancing turned out to be the magic fuel.
